Sound insulation for wall and ceiling cavities
ISO NOISE is an insulation batt placed inside the cavity of lightweight walls, double-leaf masonry walls and ceilings to reduce sound passing through — without making the wall thicker.
*According to the supplier and the product catalogue. The documents do not state a test standard. Actual sound insulation depends on the complete wall system.
How it works
When sound hits the first wall layer, its energy builds up and resonates in the cavity, then pushes through to the other side. Fibrous insulation in the cavity absorbs that energy.

Two variants with the same size and thickness. Inside a wall cavity they give the same sound-insulation benefit; they differ in material and suitable environment.

Get the concept right first
Stops sound passing through a wall, ceiling or floor from one room to another. It is rated as the STC of the complete wall system. ISO NOISE works here, as the core of the wall.
Reduces echo and reverberation inside a room using materials on the wall or ceiling surface. It is rated by the absorption coefficient or NRC of a material. Absorptive panels in a room do not stop sound passing through the wall.
